EPA Proposes Stricter Emissions Standards for Heavy-Duty Trucks and Engines

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing new, more stringent emissions standards for heavy-duty engines and vehicles, including large trucks, vans, and SUVs, intended for operation on roads and highways, with the goal of reducing oxides of nitrogen and hydrocarbons by approximately 75 percent from current standards.
