EPA Approves Maryland's Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has converted its conditional approval of Maryland's State Implementation Plan (SIP) for an enhanced vehicle inspection and maintenance (I/M) program to a full approval, following the state's compliance with 15 conditions set in 1997.
