US and Canada Publish Draft Reports on Toxic Substances in Great Lakes
Environment Canada and the United States Environmental Protection Agency have published draft reports on Polychlorinated Biphenyls, Benzo(a)Pyrene and Hexachorobenzene, and Mercury, Alkyl Lead, in response to the United States' commitments in the Great Lakes Binational Toxics Strategy. The reports are part of a four-step process aimed at virtually eliminating persistent toxic substances in the Great Lakes.
