Saab Model SAAB SF340A and 340B Series Airplanes: Airworthiness Directive Amendment

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Saab Model SAAB SF340A and 340B series airplanes, requiring the removal and replacement of main landing gear downlock and brake hydraulic swivel brackets to prevent brake swivel and downlock failure, which could lead to loss of brakes, hydraulic fluid, and landing gear functionality.
