EPA Extends Tolerance for Buprofezin Residues on Cucurbits

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended a time-limited tolerance for residues of the insecticide buprofezin and its metabolites on cucurbits for an additional year, until December 31, 2000, following an emergency exemption granted under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
