US Amends Imported Fire Ant Regulations to Restrict Movement and Lower Treatment Dosage

The US government has designated quarantined areas in California counties to prevent the spread of the imported fire ant, restricting the interstate movement of regulated articles. The regulations also lower the treatment dosage of bifenthrin wettable powder for containerized nursery plants.
