FAA Proposes to Rescind Airworthiness Directive for ATR-42 and ATR-72 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to cancel an existing airworthiness directive (AD) for Aerospatiale Model ATR-42 and ATR-72 series airplanes, which requires revising the Airplane Flight Manual to address a potential loss of electrical power in the event of generator failure, following an isolated incident.
