National Institutes of Health to Grant Exclusive License for Cancer Treatment Method

The National Institutes of Health is considering granting an exclusive worldwide license to IDEC Pharmaceuticals for its patent application on a diagnostic and therapeutic method to detect and treat cancers of reproductive tissues, specifically prostate cancer, using a vaccine based on the PAGE-4 protein.
