Airworthiness Directives; Saab Model SAAB 2000 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Saab Model SAAB 2000 series airplanes to address fatigue failure of the piston in the retract actuator of the main landing gear, which could lead to reduced structural integrity. The proposed directive would require a measurement and potentially corrective action, as well as repetitive replacement of the affected components.
