EPA Extends Tolerance for Zinc Phosphide Emergency Exemptions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the time-limited tolerances for residues of zinc phosphide on potatoes and sugar beets for an additional 1.5 years, until December 31, 2001, following an emergency exemption granted under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act.
