U.S. Customs Service Proposes Changes to Customs Regulations Regarding Checks Deposited

The U.S. Customs Service is proposing to amend its regulations to align with Federal Reserve System guidelines, allowing Customs employees to deposit certain monetary instruments, such as checks, without requiring their names and badge numbers on the instrument, and instead placing specific information on the front side.
