EPA Proposes Revocation of Significant New Use Rules for Certain Chemical Substances

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to revoke significant new use rules (SNURs) for two chemical substances, citing new data that no longer supports the need for these regulations, which were originally put in place to protect human and environmental exposure.
