Proposed Establishment of Class E Airspace; Scammon Bay, AK

This action proposes to establish Class E airspace at Scammon Bay, AK. The establishment of Global Positioning System (GPS) instrument approach procedures at Scammon Bay Airport have made this action necessary. The Scammon Bay Airport status will change from Visual Flight Rules (VFR) to Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). Adoption of this proposal would result in adequate controlled airspace for aircraft flying IFR procedures at Scammon Bay, AK.
