CASA Issues Airworthiness Directive for C-212 and CN-235 Series Airplanes

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring the revision of the Airplane Flight Manual for certain CASA C-212 and CN-235 series airplanes to ensure the activation of airframe pneumatic deicing boots in icing conditions, following reports of inflight incidents and an accident.
