GAO Issues Revised Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government

The General Accounting Office has updated its 'Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government,' commonly known as the 'Green Book,' to reflect the growing impact of information technology and human capital management on internal control, effective for fiscal year 2000.
