EPA Raises Concerns Over Environmental Impact Statements and Regulations for Augusta River Crossing and Destin Dome 56 Development
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has expressed concerns over the adequacy of mitigation measures and the means to implement them in two separate environmental impact statements (EIS) for the Augusta River Crossing and Destin Dome 56 development projects. The EPA has requested additional information and documentation to address potential direct and secondary impacts, including aquatic impacts, air quality, and mitigation measures for the protection of bottom resources.
