FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) to address safety concerns related to thrust reverser systems on certain McDonnell Douglas Model DC-10, MD-11, and KC-10A airplanes. The proposed AD aims to prevent unwanted deployment of thrust reversers, which could compromise airplane controllability.
