Draft USDA Forest Service Strategic Plan (2000 Revision)

The Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 requires the Forest Service to ask for the views and suggestions of anyone ``potentially affected by or interested in'' the Agency's strategic plan. Between October 1998 and January 1999, public meetings and other means were used to solicit input from the public about the development of the draft 2000 Revision. These comments were used, along with other information, to develop the draft 2000 Revision, which has now been completed by the Agency. This notice announces the opportunity for public review and comment on the draft 2000 Revision and provides information about where to send written comments.
