EPA Approves Georgia State Implementation Plan Revisions to Reduce Nitrogen Oxides Emissions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed to approve revisions to the State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the State of Georgia, which aim to reduce nitrogen oxides emissions in the Atlanta ozone nonattainment area by implementing specific gasoline formulation rules and unit-specific emission limits at certain power plants.
