Boeing Proposes Airworthiness Directive for 737-100 to 737-500 Series Airplanes to Address Excessive Airframe Vibration
Boeing is proposing an airworthiness directive to address reports of excessive high-frequency airframe vibration during flight, which could result in structural damage to critical aircraft components. The proposed directive would require replacing existing bolts and nuts with new ones to prevent detachment of elevator tab push rods and ensure airplane controllability.
