OSM Approves Part of Illinois Regulatory Program Amendment

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) is approving part of an amendment to the Illinois regulatory program under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA), focusing on subsidence control and water replacement to address changes required by the Energy Policy Act of 1992.
