BLM to Limit OHV Use in Central Oregon Lands Until New Environmental Impact Statement is Issued

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has proposed a consent judgment to govern the use of off-highway vehicles (OHVs) in Central Oregon lands until a new environmental impact statement is issued, following a 1999 court ruling that requires the BLM to analyze management alternatives and environmental impacts associated with OHV use in the region.
