EPA Proposes Approval of Massachusetts' Ozone Attainment Demonstration Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Massachusetts' State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Springfield area, which aims to reduce ground-level ozone levels, and extend the attainment date to December 31, 2003, as requested by the current Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MA DEP) Commissioner.
