EPA Proposes Approval of New Jersey's Ozone Attainment Demonstration SIP

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve New Jersey's Ozone Attainment Demonstration State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island nonattainment area, or disapprove it if New Jersey fails to submit required documents. The EPA requires New Jersey to submit the adopted NOx SIP Call program, enforceable commitments to reduce emissions, and revised transportation conformity budgets that reflect additional emission reductions identified by the EPA.
