WIC Bloodwork Requirements to be Deferred for Up to 90 Days, Final Rule Amends Regulations

The US Department of Agriculture has issued a final rule allowing State agencies to delay blood test data collection for up to 90 days after certification, as long as applicants have a qualifying nutrition risk factor, and expanding the maximum age for blood test data used to assess nutritional risk for WIC certification.
