National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research Proposes Funding Priorities for Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers

The Assistant Secretary for the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services at the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) has proposed funding priorities for two Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers (RERCs) to focus research on areas of national need, with the goal of improving rehabilitation services and outcomes for individuals with disabilities, particularly children with orthopedic disabilities and those with low vision and blindness.
