Joseph M. Herman Shoe Company, Inc. to Pay $18,000 for Saco Municipal Landfill Superfund Site Cleanup

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a settlement with the Joseph M. Herman Shoe Company, Inc. for past and future response costs at the Saco Municipal Landfill Superfund Site in Maine, requiring the company to reimburse the EPA and agree not to be sued for environmental damages.
