Ford Motor Company Granted Exemptions for Fuel Tank Design and Labeling Requirements

The Office of the Administrator, Motor Carrier Safety Administration (OMCS) has approved Ford Motor Company's proposal for exemptions from certain fuel tank design and certification labeling requirements in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs), allowing Ford's commercial vehicles to operate without meeting the OMCS' minimum fuel tank fill rate and certification labeling requirements.
