Federal Agencies Must Implement Seat Belt Policies for Contractors and Grantees

The Department of the Treasury is publishing an interim rule requiring federal agencies to encourage contractors and grantees to adopt and enforce on-the-job seat belt policies for employees operating company-owned, rented, or personally owned vehicles, in response to Executive Order 13043 issued in 1997.
