EPA Extends Tolerance for Glufosinate Ammonium on Sweet Corn

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the tolerance for combined residues of glufosinate ammonium on sweet corn for an additional 2 years, from December 31, 2001, to December 31, 2003. This decision is in response to an emergency exemption granted by the EPA for use of the pesticide on sweet corn.
