OMCS Proposes to Deny Van Wyk Freight Lines, Inc. Exemption Application for Hours-of-Service of Drivers

The Office of Motor Carrier Safety Administration (OMCS) is rejecting Van Wyk Freight Lines, Inc.'s (Van Wyk) request for an exemption from the log book requirements of the hours-of-service regulations, citing concerns over the company's ability to ensure a level of safety comparable to that provided under the exception.
