U.S. Issues Final Regulations on Foreign Partnership Reporting Requirements

The U.S. government has released final regulations requiring certain U.S. persons to file a return if they acquire or dispose of an interest in a foreign partnership or experience a change in their proportional interest in such a partnership, as outlined in Section 6046A of the Internal Revenue Code.
