Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program FMRs Increased to 40% of Existing Housing Program FMR

The Section 8 housing choice voucher program has updated its Fair Market Rents (FMRs) for manufactured home spaces to 40% of the applicable FMR for a two-bedroom unit, reflecting a change in the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998, which includes tenant-paid utilities in rent calculations. This change was implemented in the Federal Register on October 21, 1999.
