Time Frame for Intervening in and Protesting Federal Power Act Section 205 Filings

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is amending its regulations to provide a 21-day time frame for interested parties to file protests or interventions in Federal Power Act (FPA) section 205 rate filings, starting from the date the filing is filed, amended, or supplemented. This change aims to give interested parties a date certain to file protests and interventions, aligning with existing Natural Gas Act (NGA) procedures.
