Navassa Island National Wildlife Refuge Established, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to Oversee Administration

The U.S. government has created a new national wildlife refuge on Navassa Island in the Caribbean Sea, with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service taking over civil administration of the island, previously delegated by the Secretary of the Interior.
