High Desert Power Project Seeks Incidental Take Permit for Desert Tortoise and Ground Squirrel

The High Desert Power Project Limited Liability Company has submitted a draft Environmental Impact Statement and an application for an incidental take permit to the Fish and Wildlife Service, seeking authorization to take threatened desert tortoises and Mohave ground squirrels during the development and operation of the High Desert Power Project in San Bernardino County, California.
