US Rule Finalizes Definition of 'Indian Tribal Household' for Food Distribution Programs

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule broadening the definition of 'Indian tribal household' to include more low-income households in the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) and the Food Distribution Program for Indian Households in Oklahoma (FDPIHO), allowing more eligible families to receive food assistance.
