US Regulators Adjust Civil Money Penalties for Inflation
The Federal government has updated its civil money penalties to reflect inflation, increasing daily fines for non-compliance with orders and laws to $1,170 and $580 respectively, in accordance with the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990.
