Licensee Qualification for Performing Safety Analyses; Issue

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued Supplement 1 to Generic Letter (GL) 83-11, Licensee Qualification for Performing Safety Analyses, to all holders of operating licenses for nuclear power reactors. This GL supplement presents criteria that licensees may choose to comply with to verify to the NRC their qualifications to use approved codes and methods for performing safety analyses.
