Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Add NAC-MPC Cask System to List of Approved Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to amend its regulations to add the NAC International Multi-Purpose Canister (NAC-MPC) cask system to the List of approved spent fuel storage casks, allowing power reactor operators to store spent fuel in the NAC-MPC cask system under a general license.
