Nuclear Regulatory Commission and National Science Foundation Enter into Memorandum of Understanding to Safeguard Public Health and Environment in Antarctica

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to ensure the safe use of radioactive materials in Antarctica, protecting public health and the environment, in accordance with the Antarctic Treaty and the Antarctic Conservation Act.
