Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Add Holtec HI-STORM 100 Cask System to List of Approved Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to amend its regulations to add the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 cask system to the list of approved spent fuel storage casks, allowing power reactor operators to store spent fuel in this system under a general license.
