NHTSA Allows Importation of Non-Compliant 1993-1994 Volkswagen EuroVan MPVs
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made a decision to allow the importation of 1993-1994 Volkswagen EuroVan multi-purpose passenger vehicles that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, as they are substantially similar to vehicles originally manufactured for importation and certified by their manufacturer to comply with safety standards.
