U.S. Census Bureau Amends Foreign Trade Statistics Regulations to Clarify Exporter Responsibilities

The U.S. Census Bureau is updating its Foreign Trade Statistics Regulations to clarify the roles of exporters and forwarding agents in preparing and filing export documents, including the Shipper's Export Declaration and Automated Export System filings, and to prepare for changes to the 'exporter' fields on paper SED forms and AES records.
