Federal Travel Regulation; Conference Planning

The General Services Administration (GSA) is amending the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) governing conference planning. Because conferences have different requirements than routine temporary duty (TDY) travel, GSA is providing specific guidance to minimize overall Government expenses associated with conferences. This amendment will reduce agency costs by easing the administrative burden of conference planning and processing.
