Federal Acquisition Regulation to Consolidate Definitions of Applied Research and Development

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council are proposing to combine the definitions of 'Applied Research' and 'Development' in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) into a single section, aiming to simplify the regulation and improve clarity.
