Federal Acquisition Regulation; Definitions of “Applied Research” and “Development”
The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to move the definitions of "Applied Research" and "Development" from separate areas of the FAR into the same FAR section pertaining to definitions.
