WIPO to Host Diplomatic Conference on Audiovisual Performance Protection, Seeks Public Comments on Basic Proposals

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will convene a Diplomatic Conference in Geneva, Switzerland, from December 7-20, 2000, to discuss the protection of audiovisual performances. WIPO is seeking public comments on two basic proposals, which are available on its website, and will share the comments with relevant agencies, including the USPTO, US Copyright Office, and US Department of State.
