FDA Announces Public Meeting on WHO Recommendations for Ephedrine Restrictions

The FDA is hosting a public meeting to discuss the World Health Organization's proposals to restrict the international manufacturing and distribution of ephedrine and other substances, in accordance with international treaties. The public's comments will inform the US position on these proposals, which will be presented at the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs meeting in Vienna, Austria, from March 16 to 25, 1999.
