FDA to Propose Revisions to Food Irradiation Labeling Requirements

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is considering revising its labeling requirements for foods treated with ionizing radiation in response to the Food and Drug Administration Modernization Act of 1997 (FDAMA), and is seeking public comment on the proposed changes.
